Life back @ North Greenvile is amazing! I love it here sooo much! It feels good to be back. After this weekend, we will have been here a month and a half. Time flies by so fast. But it's been great. Me and my roommate, Kaylin have been getting along so well. I couldn't have asked for a better roomie. Love you, mean it! :)
Classes have been going well too. Classes that I am taking include: MicroEconomics, Oral Communications, Small Business Management, New Testament, and Political Science. The test that I have for tomorrow is in New Testament. I'm not too worried. We had a study group so I feel pretty good. I just need to make sure I know it for sure. I really have missed it here. Even class. haha. Weird, I know
So I am now a Campus Ambassador and significantly happy about it. I had my first sneak previewer on Thursday night. I got to show her around and kind of introduce her to college life and the ins and outs. So that was a good experience and was glad to have gotten the first one out of the way. Also, my first Encounter Day is coming up and I will get to give tours and such things helping with that and I'm excited about that.
Labor Day Weekend was good because we got a break from schoolwork and the like and went hiking with Kaylin and her family. We couldn't have picked a better day and it was amazing! I saw the first waterfall that I have ever seen then too. I actually got to see 3 waterfalls so it was a great day!
Well, I do have test I have to study for and a meeting in an hour. Intramural football is also on the way too! :) Until next time....

6 DAYS!!!

It is officially 6 more days until I move back into my new home known as Room 26 at NGU!!! To say that I am really excited would be an understatement. Though I am extremely exhuberant, it is a little bittersweet for my parents. They love having me here but they know I love it there and they love that I want to get my degree and @ North Greenville. I will miss being at home and some of the comforts it brings and my parents. I especially cannot wait because I will be sharing a room with one of my best friends, Kaylin! Of which I am very happy about. It will be nice to have someone in the room the better part of the time to talk to and such. Speaking of Kaylin, I miss her and the others terribly. But when I think of this, I just remember that we have only 6 days! Which would be even better if we didn't have to go back the not the next day, but the day after. Oh well, might as well have something to keep busy. and the learning part as well of course....
Though I am looking forward to moving in, I am not looking as much forward to packing up. There's just so much stuff to remember!! I would feel as if I'm missing something even when I'm not. But I know everyone feels that way at some point so I would guess that it's natural.
And as nerdy as it sounds, I am actually quite excited about starting classes. I'm guessing that this is due to the fact that the better of my classes have something to do with my major. Of this, I am particularly glad. I have even looked at books and prices and things of that nature. They are not as expensive as last semester thank goodness.
But anyways, I went to Books A Million tonight and read in a book that I had been reading in that was really interesting. While we were there, we got something to drink. And of course I got the mango smoothie and it was amazing! Mango is like my favorite fruit as of recently. I guess you could say it's my new thing... but just thought that was worthy of sharing :)
Well, I guess that's pretty much it. I will have more to tell after move in and before classes. And of course after classes start. Well, until next time....

Oh, hello Charleston...

I love Charleston! I am continually amazed by how gorgeous it is. Just riding around on a sunny day through town makes me happy. I guess one of the main reasons why I love it so much is because it is so full of history. It's a timeless city. And when my family and I lived in Myrtle Beach, we would come down to Charleston pretty much every Saturday and spend family time. My dad would tell me about parts of the history about Charleston and I would listen intently hanging on every word. I dare say that Charleston is one of the reasons that I grew to love history so much and do so well in the subject while in school. When I was little, I promised myself that when I got older, I would live in Charleston. My dream is still ever present and growing as I go back to visit this marvelous city time and time again.
Some things going on in my life right now, well, there is really not that much to tell. I miss my friends terribly and long to see them in a week's time. I can't believe that the summer is almost over! My goodness. Though I am sad to see most of my free time go, I cannot wait to start back another semester. I cannot believe that we will be sophomores! Seems just like yesterday we were in orientation as freshman and now we're not the new kids on the block. Well, I will write more later when there is more to speak of. until next time....

Something Beautiful
So....just to put this out there, I totally beasted my test and made a 100!!! I was pretty worried about that test. But I guess just when you doubt, God finds a way to reassure. I definitely feel like I am supposed to be doing what I'm doing and I love it!!
I have been playing my guitar more here lately. It seems to relax me and I love playing it. I really need to look for new songs to play. It's almost hard to believe that I have been playing for like 4 years at least. I'm not great but I'm good enough to play for friends and family I guess. haha.
I will be going to the Hillsong concert and seeing some of my best friends on Sunday and I can't wait. I have missed them and all the fun times we have together. And those times are almost back because we will be going back to school in less than a month. It's so hard to believe that the summer is almost over but at the same time, it feels as though it has been enough if not more than enough time.
Tomorrow, dad is taking all the youth to either Frankie's Fun Park or GattiTown. I really hope it's Frankie's because I haven't been there before. Though I'm not sure I'm going to go anyways. I do have schoolwork to do like my big research paper and my discussion questions. Though I will be glad when this summer session is over, I really am enjoying this class. I really like learning about organizational behavior. It's almost like psychology but for business. Of course other things as well. I could explain it, but you'd probably be totally bored. haha.
Well, I think that's about it. Until next time....

My life as I know it
So... I guess this is just to tell you guys what I've been up to lately. Pretty much studying. I've been to see friends and stuff this week so that was good. I had a test on Friday that took like 5 hours. I think that was the longest time that I have ever spent on a test in my life. Thank goodness it wasn't timed. haha. Which reminds me... I have finally picked out a topic for my term paper for my organizational behavior class. I am doing the effects of stress, when it becomes a problem, how it is related to work, and what can be done to prevent the side effects of stress. And I am willing to risk sounding like a nerd when I say that I am super excited about it. :)
I got this straightening stuff to do my hair with. It's kind of like dying your hair at home, but this stuff is supposed to make your hair straight so you don't have to spend as much time fixing and styling it. It has yet to make a believer out of me but I'm still holding out some hope. Though, if it doesn't work, I will be tempted to buy this straightener @ Wal-Mart that is zebra print. Too cute!!
My latest obsession in the way of clothes is skinny jeans. I can't believe how well they fit. Apparently, neither can my grandma, because that is practically all she talked about when I saw her last. haha. I love her though. She's somethin' else. And my nana and papa too; they just crack me up. I love spending time with them. it makes me happy that we share the same gene pool. Anyways, I now own a pair of skinny jeans and I'm pretty excited about it.
So... the latest news that I am super excited about is the upcoming Boys Like Girls and Cartel concert. They are doing a FREE concert in Easley. which is right near where I live. So of course, I'm stoked. They are both great bands and I mean, who can resist a free concert? an awesome concert I might add. Though I will say that the most epic concert is coming in October when I will be going to see john mayer, owl city, train, and the avett brothers. Unfortunately, that concert will not be free. But it will be worth all the money paid to go and see it and I know this for a fact.
Well, I guess that's about it. I really don't have much more to say I guess. So... until next time.....
