6 DAYS!!!

It is officially 6 more days until I move back into my new home known as Room 26 at NGU!!! To say that I am really excited would be an understatement. Though I am extremely exhuberant, it is a little bittersweet for my parents. They love having me here but they know I love it there and they love that I want to get my degree and @ North Greenville. I will miss being at home and some of the comforts it brings and my parents. I especially cannot wait because I will be sharing a room with one of my best friends, Kaylin! Of which I am very happy about. It will be nice to have someone in the room the better part of the time to talk to and such. Speaking of Kaylin, I miss her and the others terribly. But when I think of this, I just remember that we have only 6 days! Which would be even better if we didn't have to go back the not the next day, but the day after. Oh well, might as well have something to keep busy. and the learning part as well of course....

Though I am looking forward to moving in, I am not looking as much forward to packing up. There's just so much stuff to remember!! I would feel as if I'm missing something even when I'm not. But I know everyone feels that way at some point so I would guess that it's natural.

And as nerdy as it sounds, I am actually quite excited about starting classes. I'm guessing that this is due to the fact that the better of my classes have something to do with my major. Of this, I am particularly glad. I have even looked at books and prices and things of that nature. They are not as expensive as last semester thank goodness.

But anyways, I went to Books A Million tonight and read in a book that I had been reading in that was really interesting. While we were there, we got something to drink. And of course I got the mango smoothie and it was amazing! Mango is like my favorite fruit as of recently. I guess you could say it's my new thing... but just thought that was worthy of sharing :)

Well, I guess that's pretty much it. I will have more to tell after move in and before classes. And of course after classes start. Well, until next time....

Oh, hello Charleston...

I love Charleston! I am continually amazed by how gorgeous it is. Just riding around on a sunny day through town makes me happy. I guess one of the main reasons why I love it so much is because it is so full of history. It's a timeless city. And when my family and I lived in Myrtle Beach, we would come down to Charleston pretty much every Saturday and spend family time. My dad would tell me about parts of the history about Charleston and I would listen intently hanging on every word. I dare say that Charleston is one of the reasons that I grew to love history so much and do so well in the subject while in school. When I was little, I promised myself that when I got older, I would live in Charleston. My dream is still ever present and growing as I go back to visit this marvelous city time and time again.

Some things going on in my life right now, well, there is really not that much to tell. I miss my friends terribly and long to see them in a week's time. I can't believe that the summer is almost over! My goodness. Though I am sad to see most of my free time go, I cannot wait to start back another semester. I cannot believe that we will be sophomores! Seems just like yesterday we were in orientation as freshman and now we're not the new kids on the block. Well, I will write more later when there is more to speak of. until next time....
