So....just to put this out there, I totally beasted my test and made a 100!!! I was pretty worried about that test. But I guess just when you doubt, God finds a way to reassure. I definitely feel like I am supposed to be doing what I'm doing and I love it!!
I have been playing my guitar more here lately. It seems to relax me and I love playing it. I really need to look for new songs to play. It's almost hard to believe that I have been playing for like 4 years at least. I'm not great but I'm good enough to play for friends and family I guess. haha.
I will be going to the Hillsong concert and seeing some of my best friends on Sunday and I can't wait. I have missed them and all the fun times we have together. And those times are almost back because we will be going back to school in less than a month. It's so hard to believe that the summer is almost over but at the same time, it feels as though it has been enough if not more than enough time.
Tomorrow, dad is taking all the youth to either Frankie's Fun Park or GattiTown. I really hope it's Frankie's because I haven't been there before. Though I'm not sure I'm going to go anyways. I do have schoolwork to do like my big research paper and my discussion questions. Though I will be glad when this summer session is over, I really am enjoying this class. I really like learning about organizational behavior. It's almost like psychology but for business. Of course other things as well. I could explain it, but you'd probably be totally bored. haha.
Well, I think that's about it. Until next time....

My life as I know it
So... I guess this is just to tell you guys what I've been up to lately. Pretty much studying. I've been to see friends and stuff this week so that was good. I had a test on Friday that took like 5 hours. I think that was the longest time that I have ever spent on a test in my life. Thank goodness it wasn't timed. haha. Which reminds me... I have finally picked out a topic for my term paper for my organizational behavior class. I am doing the effects of stress, when it becomes a problem, how it is related to work, and what can be done to prevent the side effects of stress. And I am willing to risk sounding like a nerd when I say that I am super excited about it. :)
I got this straightening stuff to do my hair with. It's kind of like dying your hair at home, but this stuff is supposed to make your hair straight so you don't have to spend as much time fixing and styling it. It has yet to make a believer out of me but I'm still holding out some hope. Though, if it doesn't work, I will be tempted to buy this straightener @ Wal-Mart that is zebra print. Too cute!!
My latest obsession in the way of clothes is skinny jeans. I can't believe how well they fit. Apparently, neither can my grandma, because that is practically all she talked about when I saw her last. haha. I love her though. She's somethin' else. And my nana and papa too; they just crack me up. I love spending time with them. it makes me happy that we share the same gene pool. Anyways, I now own a pair of skinny jeans and I'm pretty excited about it.
So... the latest news that I am super excited about is the upcoming Boys Like Girls and Cartel concert. They are doing a FREE concert in Easley. which is right near where I live. So of course, I'm stoked. They are both great bands and I mean, who can resist a free concert? an awesome concert I might add. Though I will say that the most epic concert is coming in October when I will be going to see john mayer, owl city, train, and the avett brothers. Unfortunately, that concert will not be free. But it will be worth all the money paid to go and see it and I know this for a fact.
Well, I guess that's about it. I really don't have much more to say I guess. So... until next time.....

Best Friends

"You only meet your once in a lifetime friends....once in a lifetime."
"A best friend knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you....even when you've forgotten the words."
I went to see one of my best friends yesterday. I have missed her so much and if it weren't for schoolwork, I'd definitely be there now. One of the reasons that I am posting about this is because not only is it a part of my day, but I believe that friends are important. It's whose going to be there for you when you need them the most. It's the person you can act like a total idiot with but it doesn't matter because they're doing the exact same thing. Not only this, but they are who you share your secrets with and the desires of your heart. They're always ready to listen and give advice when needed. They are the people or person that knows you better than anybody else...maybe even yourself. I have been fortunate enough to have a best friend like this. Not only one but a couple others. I can't be more grateful to them for just being their totally awesome selves. I miss them all very much and am always waiting for when I see them again.
I have been playing the guitar more here lately. It helps me to destress a little and gives me a clear mind. When I play and sing, I can forget and let go of everything else that is going on and just be in the moment. There's so many uncertainties in life and things that change. But to quote another of my favorite quotes "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." We can't be afraid to live our life in fear. We can't afford it. Because time is a valuable and precious thing to waste. And we only get one life. This is pretty much everything that is on my mind. Until next time.....

Random...
The way I see things now, my life is full of anticipations. Well, at least the 5 that are listed below:
1. Going back to North Greenville
2. Getting to see my friends from Greenwood/NGU soon
3. The Rally in the Valley Game
4. Growing my nails out
5. John Mayer Concert
All of these things are great things to look forward to; at least I think they are. I am very excited because I posted new and really good pictures on Facebook this evening when I should have been working on an article for my summer class. Procrastination is definitely something that most college students have down to an art and or mastered. I am one of them. Writing this post is just one of the ways that I have managed to procrastinate along with adding pictures to Facebook. One of them is when we went to Epcot for my mom's birthday. The picture should be somewhere in this post. haha

This was taken right before we got on the shuttle to go to Epcot. Those were good times. I actually managed to get a decent tan while I was there so that was a plus. Anyways, I should at least get some sleep so I can be ready to write this article tomorrow

For starters...
I would tell you a bio about myself, but where would the fun in that be? I decided to write a blog because I have always wanted kind of like an online journal. And with everyone being so environmental, it will leave less of a carbon footprint. I like to protect the environment but I wouldn't say that I go to great lengths. Life has been pretty good lately. I started an online class and it is going fairly well....so far. I am "keeping my fingers crossed" so to speak. I love school. Probably because you get more freedom in college and you are starting work on what you will be doing for the rest of your life. I was fortunate and blessed to have figured out very early what I want to do with the rest of my life. I have a passion for business and it grows with every day that I learn more about it. I know that I may sound like a nerd, but I embrace my nerdiness. I'm glad that I have found something that I am passionate about that I could spend the rest of my life doing and I love it! Trust me, I did not think that I was going to be a business major. In fact, that's the last thing I thought I would be. I had this notion that business was boring. I guess all those church business meetings kind of did it for me. haha. But I have found that now I am in the business program @ North Greenville University, I would not want to be doing anything else with my life. God has really done some great things in my life and I can't believe how much I have changed. But that is a different story for a different time. In truth, I wouldn't have anything any other way. I think I turned out pretty okay. Until next time.... Casey
